If Warcraft 3 and Path of Exile bad a baby, it would be Maze Defenders. Jokes aside that is a bold claim, but those games have been the inspiration since the start.

Maze Defenders is a classic Tower Defense where mazing, crafting and creating elaborate builds are the key elements.

The game will feature 20+ unique Towers for the player to craft, upgrade and equip with runes and other items.

There are five worlds to battle through in the campaign, each one more difficult than the other. Skilled players may seek greater challenges (and thus greater rewards) in the seasonal levels or test their builds to the max in the endless levels.

One very important aspect of the game is level modifiers. A level modifier has the ability to change the way a level is played. It can for instance modify the number of spawned enemies, make them stronger or perhaps cause all Towers to shoot an additional projectile. Modifiers can be both good and bad for the player.
Some levels will have few of them and some levels will have many of them, forcing the player to think and adapt their playstyle.

The player will be able to unlock different Builders, each providing an unique set of bonuses and abilities. Builders act as both worker for building towers and an offensive tool for laying down decimation upon your foes.
For instance: The Fire Mage can call down Molten Meteors that deal brutal damage to enemies caught in the destruction.
Or the Druid that provides bonuses to Crit-damage and can cast Empower that buffs nearby Towers damage and speed.
